Dental Care Access Project
Established in 2019, the Dental Care Access Project (DCAP) is a volunteer-led initiative with a mission of "Providing free dental care in the communities that need it most." DCAP is a sponsored project within the Howard University College of Dentistry Alumni Association (a 501(c)3 organization), and as a result, all donations are fully tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Services provided include fillings, extractions, dental cleaning, and preventative care (including oral health education).
Our free dental care services are provided by a dedicated team of dental students from
Howard University as well as skilled providers and instructors.
